NEYA Hotels seeks to strengthen its Human Resources Department by hiring an **HR Coordinator – Hotel Unit Coordination**, reporting directly to the Human Resources Directorate.
This professional’s primary mission is to ensure coordination between the Human Resources Directorate and various hotel units, guaranteeing implementation, follow-up, and monitoring of HR policies, processes, and approved projects. The role entails technical and operational support to hotel units, ensuring execution of previously approved initiatives and contributing to standardization of practices, organizational development, and achievement of the department’s strategic objectives.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Act as the privileged liaison between the Human Resources Directorate and hotel units;
* Ensure implementation and follow-up of HR policies, procedures, and projects approved by the Directorate;
* Support hotel units in recruitment and selection, onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines;
* Coordinate, monitor, and provide technical support to an HR Technician assigned to another hotel unit, ensuring and promoting process standardization across hotel units, delivering technical support, and guaranteeing correct implementation of policies approved by the Human Resources Directorate.
* Promote standardization of people management practices across different Group units;
* Monitor execution of HR activities within the unit under their coordination, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives defined jointly with the Human Resources Directorate;
* Support the technical and professional development of the individual under their functional supervision;
* Coordinate and monitor execution of training and development plans defined by the HR Directorate;
* Collect all monthly information related to work schedules, holidays, absences, overtime, night shifts, etc., validate it with line managers for payroll processing;
* Provide technical support to hotel unit management teams on topics related to people management, performance, organizational climate, and employee engagement;
* Ensure correct application of the organization’s compensation policies, benefits, and other HR practices;
* Monitor compliance with labor legislation, internal regulations, and legal requirements applicable to the hospitality sector;
* Support internal and external HR-related audits, ensuring implementation of defined corrective actions;
* Assist in collecting, analyzing, and processing HR management indicators from different units;
* Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to support decision-making by the Human Resources Directorate;
* Participate in cross-functional organizational transformation, digitalization, and continuous improvement projects for HR processes;
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within units and submit proposals to the Human Resources Directorate for validation and approval;
* Conduct regular visits to hotel units for operational monitoring and support in implementing HR initiatives;
* Promote standardization of procedures and dissemination of best practices in people management across different units.
### **Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field;
* Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in generalist HR roles within the hospitality or tourism sector (mandatory);
* Prior experience coordinating 1–2 individuals or providing functional oversight to HR professionals will be valued (preferred criterion);
* Solid knowledge of all HR subsystems;
* Up-to-date knowledge of Portuguese labor legislation, including the AHP Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCT AHP);
* Experience implementing and monitoring HR projects in multi-unit contexts will be valued;
* Ability to influence, communicate effectively, and build interpersonal relationships across hierarchical levels;
* Strong organizational, planning, and priority management skills;
* High sense of responsibility, autonomy, and results orientation;
* Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability;
* Proficiency in HR management tools and Microsoft Office;
* Intermediate/Advanced Excel (mandatory requirement);
* Experience in payroll processing (preferred);
* Familiarity with HR metrics and people analytics concepts;
* Willingness to travel outside Lisbon biweekly.
