Strong emphasis on safety and teamwork Location: Regional (day and night shifts required) Contract Type: Full-time, permanent Salary: €35,000 – €45,000 per annum (depending on experience) The Opportunity: ISS Recruitment is recruiting, on behalf of a leading client in the arboriculture and infrastructure services sector, a Tree Surgery Groundworker to join a growing, safety-focused team. Key Responsibilities Field Operations Carry out all ground support tasks as directed by the Team Leader. Safely and efficiently handle and process branches and timber. Operate woodchippers, stump grinders, and other powered equipment. Support traffic management operations at work sites. Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety procedures. Drive company vehicles when required. Support teams across various arboriculture and forestry projects. Candidate Requirements Valid, unrestricted driving licence (mandatory). Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates are preferred (training can be provided). NPTC Chainsaw certifications (CS30 / CS31) are advantageous. PTS certification is desirable. Category C or higher HGV licence is a clear advantage. Previous experience in arboriculture, forestry, or similar outdoor/manual roles is desirable. Availability to work day and night shifts across different regions. Desired Profile: Responsible, punctual, and committed individual with strong work ethic. Positive attitude and good teamwork skills. Follows instructions and prioritises health and safety. Good communication skills. Willingness to learn, develop skills, and progress through continuous training. Flexibility and adaptability to shift work.
