The Elevating Platform Mechanic will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of material handling equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.

IMAN Portugal, a multinational specialist in Human Resources Management, is recruiting an Elevating Platform and Forklift Mechanic to join a nationally recognized client company located in Benavente.
Your Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevating platforms, forklifts, and other material handling equipment;
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic faults;
Carry out repairs and replace defective components;
Conduct periodic safety and operational inspections of equipment;
Perform operational tests after maintenance interventions;
Complete technical reports and maintenance records;
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures;
Support the management and control of spare parts and consumables required for repairs;
Ensure proper use of tools and work equipment.
What We Look For In You:
Experience in maintaining and repairing elevating platforms and/or forklifts (preferred);
Junior profiles with appropriate technical training will also be considered;
Training and/or experience in automotive mechanics, automotive electricity, mechatronics, or related fields;
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnosis and repair;
Ability to learn, responsibility, and autonomy;
Team spirit and problem-solving orientation;
Driving license category B (mandatory);
Availability for travel, where applicable.
