Job Summary: The Elevating Platform Mechanic will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of material handling equipment, ensuring safety and functionality. Low staff turnover due to increased activity IMAN Portugal, a multinational specialist in Human Resources Management, is recruiting an Elevating Platform and Forklift Mechanic to join a nationally recognized client company located in Benavente. Your Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevating platforms, forklifts, and other material handling equipment; Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic faults; Carry out repairs and replace defective components; Conduct periodic safety and operational inspections of equipment; Perform operational tests after maintenance interventions; Complete technical reports and maintenance records; Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures; Support the management and control of spare parts and consumables required for repairs; Ensure proper use of tools and work equipment. What We Look For In You: Experience in maintaining and repairing elevating platforms and/or forklifts (preferred); Junior profiles with appropriate technical training will also be considered; Training and/or experience in automotive mechanics, automotive electricity, mechatronics, or related fields; Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnosis and repair; Ability to learn, responsibility, and autonomy; Team spirit and problem-solving orientation; Driving license category B (mandatory); Availability for travel, where applicable.
