To join our Transportation Planning team, we are seeking a ***Transport Optimizer***. Your primary mission will be to plan, optimize, and monitor transportation operations, ensuring a balance among service level, operational efficiency, and cost control. Join this team and discover Nestlé! **WHAT YOU’LL DO …** * Optimize vehicle occupancy and capacity utilization across all transportation modes; * Collaborate with transportation teams to maximize utilization of dedicated fleets and external logistics operators; * Partner with Supply Chain teams to minimize transportation-related failures and ensure high service levels; * Ensure appropriate lead times to guarantee on-time deliveries; * Confirm that all loading and unloading points are properly planned and executed; * Validate carrier confirmations and associated delivery documentation; * Effectively manage operational exceptions, ensuring delivery execution even under unforeseen circumstances; * Develop viable and optimized transportation plans, considering operational constraints, service requirements, and cargo consolidation opportunities; * Monitor performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency; * Apply Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) principles and use continuous improvement tools to drive results; * Participate in—and potentially lead—initiatives focused on sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of logistics operations. **ARE YOU WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?** * Experience in logistics, transportation planning, or Supply Chain operations; * Experience in national (Spain) and/or international transportation is an advantage; * Fluency in Spanish (mandatory); * Knowledge of English (preferred); * Strong analytical capability and problem-solving orientation; * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously; * Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes; * Comprehension of the balance among cost, service, and operational performance; * Experience analyzing and monitoring KPIs; * Knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality; * Proficiency with computer tools; * Organizational skills, rigor, and results orientation; * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders; * Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.
