Collaboration with research teams and signal analysis **Vacancy Code:**OE202602/0829 **Vacancy Type:**Open Competitive Procedure **Status:**Active **Organizational Level:**Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation **Agency/Service:**University of Coimbra **Employment Contract:**Fixed-term Public Employment Contract (CTFP) with uncertain termination clause **Work Regime:**General Careers **Career:**Senior Technician **Category:**Senior Technician **Complexity Level:**3 **Remuneration:**1st position, Level 16 TRU - €1,499.15 **Monthly Supplement:**€0.00 **Job Description:**Advisory, research, planning, and implementation functions related to technical methods and processes, to be performed with responsibility and autonomy—even though under qualified higher-level supervision—specifically: technical and scientific support within the NeuroinSight project, including execution of laboratory protocols in animal models, such as collection and processing of biological and histological samples, and image acquisition; Image acquisition and analysis, e.g., optical coherence tomography (OCT), ensuring data quality; Support for data processing and analysis, including statistics and various analyses, e.g., texture and image processing, in collaboration with the signal analysis team; Support for laboratory organization, management of reagents/consumables, equipment and technical documentation, including maintenance of good laboratory practices; Acting as an interface between technical and research teams, collaborating with researchers in executing and adapting appropriate methods; Supporting preparation of scientific and technical reports, results for publications, conference presentations, and reports for funding entities; Managing communication and reporting to funding entities; Managing procurements required for project development; Administrative management.
