Green World, a reputable company specializing in Energy, Georeferencing, Maintenance, and other fields, is currently recruiting for the position of: GIS Editing Technician – Electrical Infrastructure Role Context: Integration into a project for editing and maintaining geographic data of electrical infrastructure, to be carried out on the client's proprietary GIS platform. The role involves rigorous editing of technical information, compliance with business rules, and validation of spatial data. Essential Technical Competence: - Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), particularly: - Fundamental concepts (layers, geometries, attributes, coordinate reference systems). - Vector data editing. - Reading and interpreting spatial information. Desirable Technical Competences: - Experience with market-standard GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS or equivalent). - Basic understanding of geodatabases and attribute tables. - Experience in structured GIS editing environments governed by rules and validations. - Prior knowledge of or exposure to technical infrastructure, especially electrical networks. - Ability to interpret technical cartography, plans, or schematics. Operational Competences: - Attention to detail and high accuracy in data editing. - Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency and quality. - Adaptability to closed platforms and defined workflows. - Ability to identify inconsistencies and report technical issues.
