Focus on safety, quality, and environment. ### **Job Description and Responsibilities** The Electrical Site Manager is responsible for the coordination, planning, execution, and technical control of all electrical and communication works associated with the construction and commissioning of a battery energy storage system (BESS) plant, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, contractual, environmental, and safety requirements. Reports hierarchically to the Project Site Manager (SM). Main Responsibilities 1\. Technical Planning and Coordination Review the execution design (specifications, drawings, technical specifications). Review the detailed electrical work schedule and critically assess it. Coordinate interfaces with: \> Main equipment: BESS and Power Conversion Systems (PCS), GenSets; \> Civil works; \> Commissioning; \> Substation and grid connection; \> Protection and control systems (SCADA); 2\. Execution of Electrical Works Supervise, ensure correct execution, and verify completion of quality documentation for: Assembly of MV and LV switchgear. Installation of power transformers and auxiliary services. Installation of BESS systems (DC/AC interconnection). Implementation of power and control cable networks. Earthing and equipotential bonding systems. Protection, automation, and control systems. Electrical tests (continuity, insulation resistance, protective relays, etc.). 3\. Team and Subcontractor Management Coordinate foremen and technical teams. Oversee electrical subcontractors. Validate measurement reports and production control. Ensure adherence to deadlines and productivity targets. 4\. Safety, Quality, and Environment Ensure implementation of the Health and Safety Plan. Ensure application of applicable technical standards (MV, LV, RETIE/RTIEBT as per country). Ensure compliance with requirements defined by the Client and Supervision; Ensure adherence to best practices related to: \> Medium Voltage operations. \> Work near energized systems. \> Handling of battery energy storage systems (thermal risk, fire, electric arc). Coordinate with the Safety Officer. 5\. Commissioning and Commissioning into Service Participate in the commissioning plan. Oversee plant energization. Support integration testing with the grid and system operator. Ensure delivery of "as-built" documentation. Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams. ### **Candidate Profile** Competencies: Proactivity and critical thinking; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Experience in: Medium Voltage installations. Photovoltaic, wind, BESS, or other industrial power plants; Electrical substations (preferred). Ability to read and interpret single-line and multi-line diagrams; Strong planning and organizational skills; Decision-making capability under pressure; Results-oriented; Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
