Ensures cleanliness and safety of the workplace ### **Job Description** The Operator carries out operational processes in production. Operates equipment and machinery requiring a certain level of competence, acquired through on-the-job training and specialized training. Knowledge of the use of all materials, equipment, and tools is necessary to perform tasks, and typically this requires time and effort to acquire the required experience and skills. Activities are characterized by a large portion of (semi-)routine work, which can be performed based on training and experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Functions o Perform operational activities/processes such as unloading, loading, transportation, cleaning, labeling, operation of all equipment, bagging, dosing, and granulation to contribute to safe, effective, and efficient production processes. Maintenance and Repair Tasks o Inspects and regularly performs minor maintenance tasks on production equipment, identifying defects and deficiencies. o If applicable and appropriate, performs minor repair work. Reporting o Records data and information regarding production orders and activities in logbooks/systems as appropriate for comprehensive management and tracking of production order status and progress. Continuous Improvement o Identifies deviations in current processes, techniques, and/or systems and highlights improvement opportunities to the supervisor, to continuously optimize and improve operational processes, tools, and systems. Safety and Compliance o Works in compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures (personal and food safety, environmental and quality), as well as operational standards. o Promotes SHEQ awareness, identifies potentially hazardous and/or unsafe situations, and takes appropriate action in case of imminent unsafe situations. Good Housekeeping o Ensures the workplace is clean and maintained under safe working conditions, with no hazardous situations present. Maintains the appearance of production line(s), work area(s), and production site.
