




Application Manager – Corporate Systems Country: Portugal **Location:** Lisbon **General Job Description** We are looking for 2 Application Managers (m/f) to join the Corporate Systems team at Santander Portugal. This role combines the responsibilities of an **Application Manager** with **Project Management** skills, ensuring the technological evolution of core and regulatory systems in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. If you have experience in functional analysis, systems development, and coordination of digital initiatives, this challenge is for you. **Main Responsibilities** * Functionally responsible for a set of core and regulatory applications. * Identify, prioritize, and coordinate improvements that bring real impact to the business. * Define, design, and implement new features in collaboration with internal and external teams. * Ensure critical knowledge retention within the Bank, strengthening our technological autonomy. * Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in Portugal and across various geographies of the Santander Group. **Requirements** * **Solid experience (5+ years)** in systems development and implementation, with strong functional analysis capabilities. * Knowledge of **Cobol, CICS, DB2, Oracle** and openness to learning/applying more recent technologies (APIs, Oracle FCCS, PEGA, among others). * Experience with **agile methodologies** and **DevOps** practices. * Analytical mindset, problem-solving attitude, and ability to adapt in dynamic environments. * Experience in the financial sector, particularly in regulatory contexts.
