We are recruiting an **experienced and detail-oriented Cost Estimator** to join our technical department in Lagos. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our construction projects. **Main Responsibilities:** * Analysis of architectural and engineering drawings. * Quantification of materials and services. * Requesting and analyzing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Preparing comparative price charts. * Calculating direct and indirect project costs. * Preparing detailed cost estimates and commercial proposals. * Identifying potential cost optimization opportunities. * Monitoring and reviewing cost estimates during project execution. * Maintaining updated price databases. * Collaborating with other departments (commercial, production). **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a Cost Estimator in civil construction. * Solid knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings (architecture, structures, installations). * Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., \[list specific software used]). * Familiarity with price tables and costs of materials and labor. * Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and calculation accuracy. * Good communication and negotiation skills. * Organizational skills, proactivity, and ability to meet deadlines. * Optional: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. **What We Offer:** * Integration into a solid company with challenging projects in Lagos. * Attractive remuneration commensurate with experience. * Opportunity for professional development and participation in relevant projects. * Professional and collaborative work environment. * Appropriate work tools. * Meal allowance. ***Remuneration commensurate with the experience presented.*** Type of position: Full-time
