The UO team is responsible for deploying software upgrades across the MSI mission critical customer base in order to keep customer systems on current levels of shipping software.**Job Description** ------------------- **Opportunity to join the International UO team as an EMEA Upgrade Engineer (UE).** The UE is responsible for planning and deploying Dimetra software releases across varying customer system topologies. The role requires an in\-depth knowledge of Dimetra infrastructure and the tooling \& procedures used to deploy software upgrades. The Upgrade Engineer: * will develop an optimal upgrade implementation plan aligned to the customer system configuration. * will share the technical aspects and impact timeline migration strategy with the customer and keep them aware of any changes required. * will apply the software to the system using the ESU tool whilst being aware of and minimising the risk of service disruption to the operational mission critical system. * will work with Dimetra support teams to resolve issues that arise, tracking each case through to a workable customer solution.
