This will significantly increase your chances of success #### **About the Opportunity** We are looking for a highly motivated **DevOps Engineer with strong Python and Kubernetes expertise** to join a dynamic international team. You will focus on containerization, orchestration, AWS cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation. Working closely with Development, Security, Operations and Test Automation teams, you will help create secure, scalable and highly available digital solutions. This role offers the opportunity to improve DevOps practices across multidisciplinary teams, automate software delivery, optimize cloud environments and contribute to monitoring, logging and performance initiatives in a global organization. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Automate the integration, testing and deployment of digital products and solutions. * Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to build, enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines. * Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS. * Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and established DevOps best practices. * Work with Test Automation Engineers to create and improve dedicated testing pipelines. * Support development teams in designing secure, scalable, high\-performing and operable solutions. * Deploy and maintain containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes. * Configure and manage deployment resources with Helm, Argo CD and Istio. * Troubleshoot and resolve application, pipeline and infrastructure issues. * Configure and maintain monitoring and logging solutions. * Monitor application performance and infrastructure health. * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date technical documentation. * Evaluate existing solutions and recommend technical and operational improvements. * Mentor development teams and promote the adoption of DevOps practices. * Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand\-ups, Sprint Planning, Grooming, Reviews and Retrospectives. #### **Mandatory Requirements** * At least five years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or Software Engineer. * Strong experience building, automating and deploying software into production environments. * Hands\-on experience with microservices and infrastructure automation. * Experience working with decoupled or composable architectures. * Strong Linux administration and Bash scripting skills. * Practical experience with Python scripting and automation. * Solid knowledge of Git workflows. * Experience working with SQL databases. * Strong hands\-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure. * Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. * Experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. * Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates. * Practical knowledge of JFrog, Argo CD, Helm, Kubernetes and Istio. * English proficiency at B2 level or higher. * Availability to work from the Lisbon, Porto or Fundão office twice per week. * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. #### **Core Technical Stack** * Linux and Bash. * Python. * Git. * SQL databases. * Docker and Kubernetes. * AWS. * Terraform. * Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. * JFrog. * Argo CD. * Helm. * Istio. * SSL/TLS certificate management. #### **Nice to Have** * Experience with monorepo environments. * Experience with digital platforms. * Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence. * Jenkins pipelines and Groovy scripting. * Swagger or OpenAPI. * RabbitMQ or Amazon MQ. * Datadog for monitoring and logging. * SonarQube and Checkmarx for code quality and security. * French or another additional language. #### **Soft Skills** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to collaborate with multinational and cross\-functional teams. * Proactive, autonomous and improvement\-oriented mindset. * Interest in learning and adopting new technologies. * Ability to work independently in a fast\-paced Agile environment. * Ability to guide and mentor development teams in DevOps practices. #### **The Ideal Profile** The ideal candidate is a **Senior DevOps Engineer** with strong hands\-on experience in **Python, Kubernetes, AWS and Terraform**, capable of automating complex delivery processes and managing production\-grade cloud infrastructure.
