You will ensure all processes run efficiently and invisibly to the guest, preserving the aesthetic and sensory integrity of textiles—and directly contributing to guest comfort and experience quality. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Lead and supervise all laundry operations, ensuring consistent processes from receipt through to distribution; * Ensure appropriate treatment of each item, respecting its technical characteristics and preserving fibers, textures, and durability; * Define and uphold cleaning, hygiene, and presentation standards aligned with international luxury protocols; * Implement rigorous quality control systems, guaranteeing a flawless final product; * Manage the laundry department’s annual budget (CAPEX & OPEX), with efficient cost, consumption, and productivity control; * Implement resource optimization strategies—including energy, water, and chemical usage; * Analyze operational deviations and implement continuous improvement plans; * Manage inventories of bed and bath linens, uniforms, and consumables—ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient rotation; * Establish and manage supplier relationships, ensuring material quality and sustainability; * Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment; * Develop and train the team, promoting autonomy, accountability, and technical rigor; * Ensure effective coordination with Housekeeping, F&B, Spa, and Uniform Room departments; * Lead initiatives in laundry innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability. **IMPORTANCE OF THE ROLE** This role is essential to delivering the invisible excellence underpinning the guest experience. The Laundry Manager will have a direct impact on the hotel’s perceived quality—ensuring all textiles reflect the highest standards of comfort, presentation, and care.
