Job Summary: We are seeking a Food Production Engineer to develop, implement, and supervise food engineering and technology processes, with a focus on functional ice cream R&D. Key Highlights: 1. Manage resources to ensure efficiency and quality Gelado Colorido, located in Vila Verde, is a technology-based industrial company specializing in the development and production of functional ice cream, currently structured around the brands ICECARE and ICECARE NATURAL. Our team—comprising expertise in biotechnology, food engineering, quality, and R&D—requires reinforcement with: **Food Production Engineer** We are looking for a qualified and motivated Food Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team, responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising processes related to food engineering and technology, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and production efficiency, as well as implementing sustainable and innovative practices to support company growth. A significant part of your activity will also involve laboratory development of functional ice cream through participation in the R\&D projects the company is currently undertaking. **Key Responsibilities** · Lead, optimize, and continuously improve production operations in coordination with various departments across the company, ensuring alignment between quality requirements and operational execution, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency; · Participate in the laboratory development of new products and manufacturing processes, conduct tests for new product development, and prepare technical reports; · Manage resources (personnel, equipment, and raw materials) to ensure high levels of efficiency and quality; · Ensure a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment. **Desired Profile** · Higher education degree in Food Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Industrial Production, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields; · Proficiency in management tools (ERP, Excel, technical reporting); AI training preferred; · Interest in research and innovation; · Leadership ability, conflict management skills, and capacity to make decisions under pressure; · Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written); · Rigor, organization, proactivity, and critical thinking. **We Offer** · Integration into a solid and growing company with a young and dynamic team; · Participation in research and continuous improvement projects; · Job stability and a positive work environment; · Opportunities for professional development; · Remuneration commensurate with demonstrated experience.
