Visually similar to a genuine video surveillance camera, but incapable of capturing images. It consists of a typical indoor dome camera without internal electronics, making it more economical and thus indistinguishable from an operational camera at first glance. It also features a red LED that blinks intermittently, enhancing the simulation. Economical and easy to install, it can be used as a decoy—mounted visibly while the actual CCTV system remains hidden. In the event of theft, attacks will target the simulated camera, whereas the video surveillance system’s cameras remain safe and capture all footage undetected. It may also be used without a backup system as a simple deterrent, preventing intrusions or acts of vandalism due to the apparent presence of a camera.
