Job Summary: We are seeking a Construction Director to manage refrigeration projects, coordinate teams, interact with clients and suppliers, and ensure the profitability and quality of contracting projects. Leadership and communication with clients and partners We are recruiting a Construction Director (m/f) for our Refrigeration team. Responsibilities: Conduct technical analysis of contracting projects by reviewing specifications documents / awarded proposals / supporting designs to ensure appropriate and timely project preparation. Coordinate and supervise on-site teams, particularly subcontractors and RACE’s internal team, controlling the defined schedule and allocating necessary resources to guarantee adherence to deadlines and proper technical execution. Represent the company toward the client, responding to client requests, adjusting available resources and subcontracting schedules as needed, proposing suitable technical alternatives, and negotiating additional work. Interact with the Procurement department, providing necessary inputs for procurement / subcontracting processes and ensuring alignment between delivery timelines and project requirements, contributing (if necessary) to identifying alternatives. Monitor project costs and revenues, ensuring compliance—and preferably improvement—against the budgeted solution. Manage problem resolution by developing action plans and intervening whenever required by the situation, to ensure project profitability and effectiveness and resolve potential non-conformities. Coordinate handover of installations to the client, verifying compliance with defined specifications and providing all contractually required information, as well as jointly conducting project acceptance with the client. Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards by the team under supervision, in accordance with procedures defined within RACE’s QAS Management framework, to guarantee that activities are performed according to required standards. Coordinate Human Resources assigned to the role and supervise implementation of current Human Resources policies within the Organization, ensuring motivation and development of personnel under responsibility, thereby maximizing human capital within teams.
