The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for executing the sales strategy in Portugal, visiting all target customers within the assigned commercial territory, with a focus on category growth. Position based in the Lisbon area. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** * Proven track record of achievements in organizations requiring strong interpersonal skills to influence. * Ability to impact potential customers. * Capability to manage a large designated sales territory. * Highly proactive profile, capable of successfully working independently and in teams to achieve predetermined objectives. * High level of attitude, resilience, and learning ability. * Emotional intelligence, communication skills, and open-mindedness are highly valued. * Ability to remain steadfast under pressure. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Experience in the optical or pharmaceutical industry is a plus. * Proficiency in English is a plus. **Experience:** * Minimum of 5 years of prior sales experience. **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent #LI-OC1 #LI-REMOTE * Visit all customers within the commercial territory, executing the sales strategy in Portugal to achieve global and customized goals during each visit. These customers include independents, chains, and buying groups. * Planning aligned with the Iberia Coverage Plan, based on market segmentation and priorities. * Execute agreed-upon Joint Business Plans during visits between Key Account Managers and headquarters. * Negotiate new agreements (price lists, new credit lenses, private labels, training programs). * Deliver marketing campaigns previously developed by the marketing department. * Complete all required reports and administrative tasks, including maintaining a complete set of customer records for the assigned territory. * Other business-related activities.
