Job Summary: We are seeking a Patent Engineer to work on the protection, valuation, and strategic management of intellectual property assets, providing technical and legal advisory services. We provide technical and legal advisory services to companies, multinationals, startups, and research centers, supporting the entire lifecycle of IP assets. As part of strengthening our technical team, we aim to recruit a: **Patent Engineer** (with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields) **Main Responsibilities** * Drafting patent and utility model applications (including technical interaction with inventors and clients); * Preparing responses to formal and technical notifications issued by Industrial Property Offices; * Conducting prior art searches and issuing patentability opinions; * Comprehensive management of statutory deadlines (conversions, internationalizations, responses, fee payments); * Familiarity with filing applications and documents via INPI, EPO, and WIPO platforms; * Client portfolio management *;* * Preparing technical cost estimates (including official fees and professional fees); * Sending progress reports on application prosecution; * Participating in client meetings and providing strategic technical support; * Writing technical articles and participating in events in the field of Intellectual Property. **Desired Profile** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields (mandatory); * Experience in drafting and prosecuting patents; * Experience in procedures before the EPO and INPI; * Ability to apply technical and legal analysis to industrial property matters; * Experience in preparing FTO reports and prior art searches (desirable); * Strong organizational skills and strict adherence to deadlines; * Autonomy, technical rigor, and client management capability; * Proficiency in using computer tools; * Fluency in English (spoken and written). **We Value** * Experience in international contexts; * Knowledge in telecommunications, electronics, energy, or electrical systems; * Prior involvement in opposition or appeal proceedings at the EPO; * Skills in writing and organizing texts and reports; * Experience in managing strategic portfolios. **We Offer** * Integration into a leading firm in the field of Intellectual Property; * **Full-time** employment; * Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience and seniority; * A highly specialized technical environment; * Participation in national and international projects; * Opportunity for continuous development in the field of IP.
