Participate in equipment trials, validations, and commissioning NS Máquinas is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern (M/F) with interest in the practical aspects of engineering—particularly mechanical assembly, tuning, and technical supervision of industrial machines. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the product, understanding how machines are built, working alongside field teams, and translating technical knowledge into practical solutions. **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise the mechanical assembly of industrial machines. * Support technical teams during assembly, testing, and tuning phases. * Interpret technical drawings, bills of materials, and assembly-support documentation. * Collaborate with engineering, production, and technical support teams. * Assist in identifying improvements related to assembly, accessibility, maintenance, and machine operation. * Participate in equipment trials, validations, and commissioning. * Record relevant technical information and contribute to improving internal documentation. * Follow the machine’s lifecycle from assembly through final validation. **Required Profile:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or currently enrolled in such a program. * Interest in the practical side of engineering and direct interaction with machinery. * Curiosity about mechanical assembly, industrial processes, and equipment operation. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Willingness to learn on-site and work closely with technical teams. * Inquisitive, dynamic, responsible, and proactive profile. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Availability for an industrial environment and hands-on supervision on the factory floor. **All interested candidates meeting the above requirements and eligible for the \+Talento internship program (IEFP) should send their CV to the email address:** ivocunha@nsmaquinas.pt Benefits: * Meal card/voucher * Free parking Work Location: On-site
