Job Summary: We are seeking a Guest Experience Host & Reception to serve as a key figure at the central reception and within the guest experience, combining front-desk duties, communication, operational support, and concierge services. More than hotels, they are homes open to guests who value authenticity, tranquility, meticulous attention to detail, and meaningful experiences. In Porto, the property consists of carefully renovated traditional city houses, offering unique apartments and suites, a tranquil garden, and a swimming pool — providing a sophisticated and intimate retreat. We are a small, close-knit, and deeply dedicated team committed to the art of hosting, cultivating a familial atmosphere where every detail matters and every guest feels welcomed as if at home. About the Role We are looking for a **Guest Experience Host \& Reception**, a key figure at As Runas’ central reception and within the guest experience at the Porto townhouse. This role combines front-desk duties, guest communication, operational support, concierge services, and host presence. You will play an essential role in managing communications across both properties — via email, phone, and digital channels — ensuring thoughtful, organized, and brand-aligned responses. Day-to-day, you will also serve as a prominent on-site presence: welcoming guests, supporting their stay, and helping create memorable moments. This is an ideal role for someone communicative, warm, organized, and with a genuine passion for personalized hospitality. Your key responsibilities include: * Managing front-desk communications for both properties, including emails, calls, information requests, reservations, and guest messages. * Conducting check-ins and check-outs at the Porto property with care, discretion, and attention to detail. * Serving as the host of the Porto house, ensuring each guest feels welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for. * Supporting guests with recommendations, reservations, special requests, and personalized suggestions. * Suggesting, promoting, and selling thoughtfully curated experiences such as wine tastings, tours, private dinners, workshops, and other activities. * Providing host support and presence at events held in Porto — whether in the living areas, kitchen, or social spaces. * Collaborating with the F\&B team and, in the future, supporting the restaurant upon its opening. * Ensuring coordination and communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and other operational departments across both properties. * Maintaining well-organized front-desk operations, guest requests, and internal communications. * Actively contributing to sustaining the impeccable service and warm atmosphere that define As Runas. We are looking for someone who: * Has experience in front desk, front office, guest relations, concierge, or premium hospitality. * Is naturally welcoming, communicative, attentive, and personable in interactions. * Enjoys working with people and creating memorable experiences. * Speaks fluent Portuguese and English; additional languages are valued. * Maintains excellent personal presentation, strong organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. * Is comfortable managing emails, calls, reservations, and guest communications clearly and professionally. * Is flexible and able to support various departments as needed. * Brings energy, initiative, and a desire to grow with us in an expanding boutique project.
