Apoiar iniciativas de melhoria contínua e projetos de infraestrutura **Queluz****,****Portugal****Tempo integral****Sênior****Job Purpose** Responsible for leading all maintenance and facility operations within the Queluz plant to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production equipment, utilities, and infrastructure. This role supports operational continuity through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting activities, facility improvements, and cross\-functional collaboration to maintain high operational standards. **A glimpse of your daily mission*** Supervise maintenance activities related to production equipment, utilities, and plant facilities, including electricity, water, gas, steam, lighting, piping, air compressors, forklifts, and air conditioning systems. * Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility\-related issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency. * Develop preventive maintenance plans and standard operating procedures to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with maintenance schedules. * Coordinate maintenance documentation, including work orders, purchase orders, maintenance schedules, and asset records. * Lead facility improvement initiatives, renovation projects, plant layout modifications, and infrastructure upgrades. * Support equipment installation projects and guide subcontractors during maintenance and facility\-related activities. * Train equipment operators and maintenance technicians on machine care, preventive maintenance, and best operational practices. * Monitor and ensure compliance of meters, valves, and facility systems with applicable regulations and safety standards. * Lead corrective action initiatives and support continuous improvement programs related to safety, quality, maintenance, and operational performance. **Your Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related field. * More than 5 years of experience in facilities and maintenance operations. * Previous supervisory experience within a multinational manufacturing environment is preferred. * Experience managing maintenance\-related projects and facility improvement initiatives. * Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills related to manufacturing equipment and facility systems. * Knowledge of preventive maintenance processes, asset management, and operational safety standards. * Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. * Fluent communication skills in English are considered an advantage. **About us** Haworth is one of the world's largest manufacturers of office furniture, providing solutions for tomorrow's customers worldwide.
