You are comfortable operating in complex, multi\-site, multi\-vendor environments where accuracy and speed matter. You can: o Architect, implement, troubleshoot, and document solutions o Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams o Own deployments end\-to\-end o Analyze logs, interpret packet captures, and build rules based on findings o Create diagrams, automate repetitive tasks, and work with global delivery teams o Thrive in a fast\-paced environment supporting enterprise customers **Core Responsibilities** o Lead end\-to\-end deployments and configurations of Meraki SD\-WAN and Cisco SD\-WAN architectures. o Design and implement secure enterprise networks, including routing, switching, wireless, segmentation, and firewall integrations. o Architect, configure, and troubleshoot: o BGP, OSPF, VRFs, routing policy design o Cisco ISE (NAC, profiling, posture, 802\.1X) o Cisco WLAN (controllers, APs, RF design, optimization) o Check Point firewalls (rules, NAT, VPN, troubleshooting) o Meraki networks (MX, MS, MR, SD\-WAN, dashboard automation) o Analyze traffic flows using packet captures, Wireshark, and firewall logs to identify issues and create/adjust firewall rules. o Build detailed network diagrams, topology maps, runbooks, and technical documentation using Visio or Lucidchart. o Perform advanced troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, SD\-WAN, and hybrid cloud environments. o Collaborate with Senior/Lead Architects on design validation and architectural governance. o Participate in customer workshops and planning sessions, articulating technical decisions and trade\-offs. o Provide escalation support during major incidents, critical cutovers, and high\-impact projects. o Ensure best practices, standardized configurations, and security frameworks are consistently applied. **Automation \& Scripting** o Develop scripts (Python, PowerShell, or Ansible) to automate configuration, audits, and deployment tasks. o Contribute to reusable configuration templates, automated workflows, and network\-as\-code initiatives. o Assist in implementing CI/CD\-style approaches for network configuration management. **Leadership \& Collaboration** o Work closely with PMs, engineers, and security teams to ensure seamless project delivery. o Mentor intermediate engineers and participate in technical design reviews. o Evaluate emerging networking technologies and contribute to Jolera’s strategic roadmap. **Must\-Have Technical Expertise** o Meraki SD\-WAN – Multi\-site deployments, templates, policy configuration, routing integration. o Cisco Networking – Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR, enterprise WLAN, Cisco ISE. o Routing \& Switching:BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRFs, LACP, VLANs, STP, QoS o Firewalls: o Check Point (strong hands\-on) o Meraki MX (advanced) o Fortigate/Palo Alto exposure (nice to have) o Tools \& Automation: o Visio, Lucidchart o Wireshark, packet capture analysis o Python, Ansible, YAML templates o Automation\-focused mindset o Diagnostic Expertise: o Log analysis o Firewall rule evaluation o Packet analysis o Root\-cause troubleshooting **Experience \& Soft Skills** o 7–12\+ years of hands\-on network engineering in enterprise or MSP/GSI environments. o Strong customer\-facing communication skills; able to explain concepts to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. o Ability to work independently and handle multiple concurrent high\-priority tasks. o Exceptional documentation skills and attention to detail. o Comfortable in fast\-paced, high\-pressure environments with tight timelines. **Certifications** o CCNP (preferred), CCNA (required) o Cisco SD\-WAN specialist certification (highly valued) o Check Point CCSA/CCSE (asset) o Meraki CMNA/CMNP (asset) **What We Offer** o Remote role with global exposure. o Competitive compensation and benefits. o Ability to work on cutting\-edge global enterprise projects across multiple industries. o Opportunities to develop into Architecture and Lead\-level roles. o Work culture that values innovation, speed, creativity, and technical mastery.
