**About the vacancy** Spotside, based in Coimbra, Portugal, is looking for a **Junior Developer** to strengthen our microcontroller software development team. **Requirements (Must Have):** * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar; * Experience in embedded software development; * Experience in C/C\+\+ programming and object\-oriented programming; * Knowledge of multithreading applications; * Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns; * Basic knowledge of Linux, bash script, and tool preparation to improve productivity; * Teamwork orientation; * Self\-organization and results orientation; **We value (Nice to Have):** * Knowledge of communication technologies; * Experience in developing layer 2 and 3 network applications; * Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts; * Basic knowledge of electronics and laboratory instrumentation; * Experience with GIT version control system.
