This role aims to analyze and underwrite property and engineering risks — both new and renewal — with high complexity and significant autonomy, following The Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework, thereby ensuring high-quality service to Partners and Clients and maximizing business opportunities within this specific segment. **Key Responsibilities** * Analyze, assess, negotiate, and decide on case-by-case property risk underwriting, in accordance with assigned authorities and autonomy; * Understand and apply Zurich Group technical rules and procedures, aligned with global and local policies, rules, and guidelines, taking into account underwriting strategy, applicable criteria and tools, and defined best practices; * Know available products and provide specialized expertise in this area, as well as in designing and developing customized solutions for Clients and Partners; * Provide specialized technical expertise and share experience within the underwriting team, delivering guidance, support, and training; * Build and maintain trust-based relationships with various stakeholders, both inside and outside the underwriting team; * Support and contribute to Distribution Channel initiatives through frequent field presence and direct contact with Brokers — whether acquiring new business or retaining Clients; * Develop and maintain relationships with Partners to identify needs and deliver solutions, supporting sales and becoming a trusted reference for Partners; * Propose innovations, developments, and continuous improvements to processes or value propositions, proactively and systematically; * Collaborate closely with Risk Engineering in addressing highly complex risks within your underwriting responsibilities; * Provide technical guidance and support. **In this context, we seek professionals with the following attributes:** * Ability to adapt to diverse technological environments; * Quick learning ability and intellectual curiosity; * Strong sense of responsibility, organization, and planning; * Attention to detail, focus, and rigor in risk analysis and assessment, and in all contextual factors influencing decision-making; * Stress resilience and ability to work under pressure; * Solution- and goal-oriented mindset; * Negotiation skills; * Assertive and empathetic communication when analyzing the needs of various stakeholders; * Dynamism, proactivity, and critical thinking. **Required Experience/Knowledge:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent; * Relevant industry experience in a similar role (equivalent to 8 years of experience in the function); * Technical underwriting knowledge of the Property line of business and preferably Engineering, including legal and regulatory frameworks; * Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. * Fluency in English. **Why Zurich?** * Integration into a global and collaborative team. * Opportunities for personal and professional development. * An inclusive and flexible work environment. * Competitive benefits and wellness programs.
