**About the Position**
-------------------
A large multinational company, globally recognized for manufacturing agricultural machinery and equipment, with annual revenue nearing US$ 10 billion and international presence. It employs over 20,000 collaborators worldwide, working collaboratively across its facilities. We seek top-tier talent to join high-performance teams.
The Connected Services team currently has an immediate opening for an Embedded Software Developer to join the Connectivity Modules group, developing telemetry and IoT solutions for connected machinery — with a specific focus on **Planters and Sprayers**. This is a hands-on role within a strategic and rapidly expanding business area.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain embedded software in C/C++ for connectivity modules of Planters and Sprayers;
* Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and software issue resolution;
* Integrate, develop, and deploy (deploy) software onto embedded devices;
* Perform debugging and interpretation of vehicle bus data, network data, offboard data, and Linux processes;
* Support validation of internal and external supplier components integrated into equipment;
* Interface with electrical and mechanical design teams to align interfaces and requirements;
* Collaborate directly with the Embedded Software Engineer and the broader Connected Services team on shared architecture, standards, and delivery timelines.
**Mandatory Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields;
* **5+ years of experience** in embedded software development;
* Strong proficiency in C and C\+\+;
* Experience developing for Embedded Linux systems;
* Knowledge of CAN communication, with experience using Vector CANoe or CANalyzer;
* Experience in structured development environments;
* Experience with version control (GIT);
* Familiarity with CAN J1939 and ISO 11783 communication protocols.
**Desired Experience**
* Prior experience in the **automotive or construction/heavy equipment sector** is highly desirable, given the close alignment with off-highway vehicle systems (CAN networks, vehicle control units, sensor and actuator integration);
* Experience with agricultural or off-highway machinery is a significant advantage.
**Additional Differentiators**
* Experience with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems);
* Familiarity with IoT/telemetry protocols (MQTT, CoAP, or similar);
* Knowledge of cybersecurity practices applied to embedded systems;
* Experience with static code analysis and automated testing for embedded systems;
* Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) in software engineering teams;
* Intermediate/advanced English (frequent interaction with global teams).
**Behavioral Profile**
* Strong problem-solving skills in technical and dynamic environments;
* Effective written and verbal communication for multidisciplinary collaboration;
* Collaborative mindset — this position involves daily, direct coordination with the Embedded Software Engineer and electrical/mechanical design teams.
**Seniority Level:** Mid-to-Senior (5\+ years of experience)
**What We Offer**

* Transportation Allowance or Fuel Allowance;
* Health Insurance;
* Dental Insurance;
* Life Insurance;
* Childcare Assistance;
