**Equipment Technician**
Fresenius Medical Care Portugal is looking to strengthen its Technical Operations team in the **Central Region (Aveiro, Viseu, Águeda)**!

This team delivers high-quality medical devices, technical services, and effective commercial strategies in global markets, advancing our mission to improve patients' lives. **Your Responsibilities:**
Perform maintenance and repair tasks on Fresenius Medical Care medical equipment.
* Ensure proper functioning of active Fresenius Medical Care medical devices and equipment, from installation onward, by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance to preserve original specifications and characteristics.
* Plan weekly, monthly, and annual activities regarding: \- Preventive maintenance; \- Repairs; \- Management of personal inventory; \- Management of tools and test/calibration equipment.
* Make decisions regarding: \- Repair processes \- Equipment downtime
* Distribute tasks and perform maintenance on all FME equipment.
* Provide technical support to customers via telephone.
* Participate in/report abnormal situations to supervisors. Return damaged and/or obsolete accessories.
* Carry out equipment installation.
* Submit status updates to the coordinator.
* Plan weekly, monthly, and annual activities carried out.
* Conduct inventory checks of spare parts stock.
* Order accessories.
* Draft technical reports after each maintenance or repair intervention.
* Maintain intervention logs, indicating type of intervention, date, and time.
* Request service requisitions and repair orders from hospitals for subsequent billing.
* Respond to calls on the Green Line.
**We Are Looking For:**
* **Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or Biomedical Computing and Instrumentation**
* Experience in electricity, electronics, and hydraulics (preferred)
* Experience in maintenance of medical devices (preferred)
* Customer orientation
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Initiative, dynamism, and aptitude for technical roles
* Good personal organization
* Computer literacy as a user
* Basic spoken and written **English language proficiency**
* Valid driver’s license for light vehicles
* **Willingness and ability to travel**
* Immediate availability
