Active support for continuous learning and professional growth. **ABOUT THE ROLE** **Smollan PORTUGAL** (www.smollan.com) is expanding its data capabilities, and **we are looking for a Senior Data \& Reporting Specialis**t to drive our reporting infrastructure across several major FMCG client projects. In this role, **you will work in a truly international environment, collaborating daily with our internal data and tech teams across the UK, the Netherlands, and Slovenia**. Your mission will be to own our end\-to\-end Power BI ecosystem—turning raw data into reliable, scalable data models and delivering strategic dashboards that support regional business decisions. **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * **International Collaboration:** Align with internal tech and data teams in the UK, Netherlands, and Slovenia to map data sources and integrate regional analytical solutions. * **Data Engineering \& Modeling:** Connect to diverse data sources, clean and transform complex datasets using Power Query (M), and build optimized data models (Star Schema). * **Dashboard Architecture:** Design, develop, and maintain user\-friendly, high\-performance Power BI reports following visualization best practices. * **Advanced Analytics:** Write complex DAX calculations to create business metrics, KPIs, and time\-intelligence tracking. * **Governance \& Security:** Manage workspaces within the Power BI Service, configure scheduled refreshes, and implement Row\-Level Security (RLS). **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR** * **Proven Senior Experience:** Solid background (\+5 years) in end\-to\-end Power BI development and data modeling. * **Technical Mastery:** Strong proficiency in Power Query (for ETL processes) and advanced DAX. * **Data Foundations:** Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction, querying, and manipulation. * **Language:** Fluency in English is mandatory due to daily interaction with international teams. * **Communication:** Ability to translate complex technical data concepts into clear insights for business stakeholders. * **Pluses:** Familiarity with Azure infrastructure, Power Automate, or Python. **WHAT WE OFFER** * **Work\-Life Balance:** A hybrid work model (2 days remote / 3 days in our office). * **Certified Best Workplace Culture:** Reflecting our commitment to a positive, inclusive, and people\-first culture. * **International Scale:** Opportunity to work in a multicultural environment with cross\-border projects and major global brands. * **Professional Growth:** Active support for continuous learning, training, and technical certifications. * **Competitive salary and benefits package.** **Ready to make an impact?** Visit: **https://www..smollan.com** and get to know us!
