Stanley Plane No. 4C

Description

For sale: a vintage and rare Stanley plane No. 4C, made in England, with a corrugated base. It has been fully restored and is in impeccable condition, functioning excellently. The plane was completely disassembled, cleaned, rust removed, all parts restored, the sole surfaces ground flat and smoothed, and the exposed metal parts painted and oiled to protect against rust. This color was chosen because I once saw a plane from another brand in the same color and liked it. The handles were also restored and finished with shellac, as was traditional.
