The **Technical Director** will ensure the ultimate industrial consistency and commercial value of the project's scientific outputs. Holding a PhD, this leader will bridge advanced academic research from the Universities with real\-world engineering environments. **Key Responsibilities** * **Technical Consistency**: Oversee the alignment between academic developments and concrete industrial benefits. * **Arbitration**: Arbitrate and validate the reference architecture, common object contracts, and system interfaces. * **Client Engagement \& Pre\-Sales**: Present the AECoE’s vision and technology stack to clients to spark high\-value consulting and "AI\-as\-a\-Service" business opportunities. * **Sovereignty Governance**: Enforce the project's Sovereign\-by\-Design principles, guaranteeing that all models can operate securely on\-premise without reliance on external proprietary APIs. **Required Profile \& Competencies** * **Education**: **PhD** in Systems Engineering, Model\-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or a highly related field. * **Industry Experience**: Deep engineering domain expertise in at least one core sector: Aerospace, Automotive, or Rail. * **MBSE Mastery**: Proven experience with complex system modeling or technical database structures. * **Thought Leadership**: Communication skills with a proven ability to pitch complex AI engineering concepts to executive\-level client stakeholders.
