In General: consultative, research, planning, programming, evaluation, and application of technical and/or scientific methods and processes that underpin and prepare decision-making. Drafting opinions and projects independently or as part of a team, with varying degrees of complexity, and performing other general or specialized support activities within common instrumental and operational areas of agencies and departments. Performing duties with technical responsibility and autonomy, even when supervised by highly qualified superiors. Representing the agency or department on matters within one’s area of expertise, making technically oriented decisions aligned with higher-level directives or guidelines.
