Monitor audiovisual equipment setup in banquet and meeting rooms. Verify that all audiovisual equipment is functional; repair or clean as needed. Tag any broken equipment and report issues to a supervisor/manager. Secure and conceal all cables. Ensure provided equipment and room setup match the event order. Inform a supervisor/manager of any additions or deletions made to layouts. Assist and advise clients on proper operation/usage of audiovisual equipment; perform upselling of various audiovisual services; and monitor equipment usage at regular intervals. Distribute, retrieve, and secure unused equipment. Read, understand, and comply with the Marriott Visual Productions (MVP) POP manual. Follow and apply all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management. Follow and apply all brand policies and procedures; wear a complete, clean uniform at all times; maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty; respect confidentiality when sharing information related to the brand and/or hotel; and protect all company property. Greet and welcome guests according to brand standards; anticipate and respond to guest needs; and thank guests warmly. Use clear and courteous language in all communications. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; collaborate and support one another to achieve common goals. Comply with quality requirements and standards. Ability to grasp, rotate, manipulate, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place loads weighing up to 23 kilograms. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery.
