We are strengthening our team in Tires with an Accountant (m/f). Key responsibilities include: \- Document classification and corresponding accounting entries; \- Classification of supplier invoices/expenses notes; \- Reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts, as well as bank reconciliations; \- Tax calculation and preparation of tax returns (VAT, IRC, Form 30, IES, SAFT); \- Development and implementation of procedures for monthly and annual closing processes; \- Support for tax audits (Tax Authority) and financial audits (annual financial statement certification); \- Invoicing; \- Fixed assets \- Asset cards, accounting entries, and depreciation. Requirements: \- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, or equivalent; \- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in similar roles. Prior experience in audit firms/big four firms is highly valued; \- Registration with the Portuguese Order of Certified Accountants (OCC); \- Proficiency in taxation and accounting under the Portuguese Accounting Standards (SNC); \- Experience with SAP: \- Good computer skills; \- Good English language skills; \- Planning, organizational, and autonomous working capabilities.
