Job Summary: We are seeking a Platform Technical Manager to manage and coordinate platform maintenance and operations, as well as mechanical and electronic systems, ensuring their operational readiness and safety. Ensuring execution of preventive and corrective maintenance We are looking for a **Platform Technical Manager** to join the Directorate of **Integrated Engineering Solutions (SIE)** at the Welding Institute and Quality (ISQ), located in **Oeiras**. **Key Responsibilities:** * Managing platform, mechanical, and electronic system maintenance; * Managing and coordinating all platform operation and maintenance services; * Exercising hierarchical command over the operation and maintenance team; * Ensuring execution of preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance; * Ensuring quality control of performed work; * Continuously monitoring operation and maintenance activities; * Identifying, analyzing, and reporting anomalies or failures; * Promoting and overseeing necessary interventions to ensure platform operational readiness; * Managing spare parts inventory; * Ensuring communication and coordination with IP or entities designated by IP; * Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements. **Qualifications:** * Higher education degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering; * Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in equipment operation and maintenance involving electrical, electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, and hydraulic components; * Railway Safety Training for Intermediate Supervisors (IET77\), recognized by IP; * Training for working at heights and rescue operations; * User-level computer skills, particularly in word processing and spreadsheet tools; * Leadership, organizational, and team coordination capabilities; * Knowledge of applicable legislation and procedures for equipment and infrastructure operation and maintenance. * Team-oriented mindset; * Strong sense of responsibility. **Work Location**: Oeiras If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the required qualifications, please submit your application via **APPLY NOW** by the deadline or visit the ISQ **Career Opportunities** page.
