Job Summary:
We are seeking a Platform Technical Manager to manage and coordinate platform maintenance and operations, as well as mechanical and electronic systems, ensuring their operational readiness and safety.

We are looking for a **Platform Technical Manager** to join the Directorate of **Integrated Engineering Solutions (SIE)** at the Welding Institute and Quality (ISQ), located in **Oeiras**.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Managing platform, mechanical, and electronic system maintenance;
* Managing and coordinating all platform operation and maintenance services;
* Exercising hierarchical command over the operation and maintenance team;
* Ensuring execution of preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance;
* Ensuring quality control of performed work;
* Continuously monitoring operation and maintenance activities;
* Identifying, analyzing, and reporting anomalies or failures;
* Promoting and overseeing necessary interventions to ensure platform operational readiness;
* Managing spare parts inventory;
* Ensuring communication and coordination with IP or entities designated by IP;
* Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements.
**Qualifications:**
* Higher education degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering;
* Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in equipment operation and maintenance involving electrical, electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, and hydraulic components;
* Railway Safety Training for Intermediate Supervisors (IET77\), recognized by IP;
* Training for working at heights and rescue operations;
* User-level computer skills, particularly in word processing and spreadsheet tools;
* Leadership, organizational, and team coordination capabilities;
* Knowledge of applicable legislation and procedures for equipment and infrastructure operation and maintenance.
