Set tables according to event type and service standards. Answer guest questions regarding menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu-related inquiries, wait times, re-cook orders, and product inventory. Relay guests' additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of ordering. Confirm guest satisfaction for each meal course and beverage. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tableware, glassware, etc., throughout the day. Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights. Present guests with accurate, physically printed invoices and process payments. Comply with all company and safety/security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; and complete safety training and certification. Maintain a clean and professional appearance in uniform and personal grooming; safeguard confidential information; and protect company assets. Welcome and recognize all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and respond to guests' service needs; assist guests with disabilities; and sincerely thank guests. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Build positive workplace relationships and support the team in achieving common goals; listen attentively and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information presented in various formats, including small print. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, twist, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
