STARK is therefore looking for Scrum Masters to support their development teams in building the applications and platforms that will form the foundation of their new IT landscape. Their development teams play a critical role at STARK. They are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom software solutions for STARK's business applications. STARK is therefore looking for Scrum Masters to support their development teams in building the applications and platforms that will form the foundation of their new IT landscape. Their development teams play a critical role at STARK. They are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom software solutions for STARK's business applications. This includes managing data within their own product domains as well as building and maintaining interfaces with upstream and downstream systems. STARK's Scrum Masters work closely with the team's Product Owner, who serves as the primary point of contact with the wider STARK organisation. In addition, they collaborate with various business stakeholders and teams that operate using traditional Waterfall methodologies. By bridging the gap between Waterfall and Agile approaches, Scrum Masters ensure strong alignment, clear communication, and successful project delivery across the business. Your main responsibilities will include: • Coach and train the team in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, enabling high\-performing teams that deliver genuine business value. • Promote team self\-organisation and foster a culture of continuous improvement. • Protect the team from unnecessary interruptions and scope creep, ensuring focus on sprint goals. • Identify and remove blockers: technical, organisational, or interpersonal; that impede progress. • Mediate conflicts within the team and with stakeholders to maintain a positive and productive working environment. • Participate in Quarterly Planning to align the team with business priorities and desired outcomes. • Provide clear visibility into team progress, delivery status, and overall health. • Facilitate team and cross\-functional events with confidence and strong facilitation skills. • Quickly build trust and credibility with developers, Product Owners, stakeholders, and senior management. • Contribute to the hiring and onboarding of new team members, ensuring strong team chemistry and balance. • Facilitate effective communication and information exchange between teams and across the organisation. • Promote the adoption of continuous integration, automation, and high engineering standards. • Champion quality assurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. • Ensure the team aligns on development practices that comply with STARK IT guidelines and culture. **Qualifications:** ------------------- Required Skills: • 3\+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development teams • Proficiency in Agile principles such as Kanban, Scrum, and Pair Programming • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle • Experience working with DevOps teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Good to have Skills: • Azure DevOps (ADO) experience: team is maturing tooling, hit\-the\-ground\-running advantage • Prior waterfall/project management background Soft Skills: • Strong leadership skills with a genuine “lead by example” mindset. • Actively contributes to a cooperative, positive, and constructive team environment. • Skilled at influencing and facilitating collaboration across teams. • Inspires enthusiasm and energy in team members. • Eager to support others and share knowledge proactively. • Highly adaptable and comfortable in a fast\-changing environment. • Strong creative problem\-solving and negotiation abilities. • Flexible and well\-organised in approach to work. • Self\-motivated with excellent communication skills. • Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior management in an international setting. ### **Education:** BSc/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline OR relevant years of experience in required skills. ### **Remarks:** Compensation (gross monthly salary): €3,500 \- €4,500 mid\-level. The role is typically placed around €4,000 gross/monthly, depending on the experience and scope. Final placement within the band is determined by objective assessment against role requirements.
