Production Director **Key Responsibilities** 1. Production Management * Supervise daily production operations * Ensure adherence to production plans and established targets * Guarantee efficient use of resources (materials, equipment, and labor) 2. Planning and Control * Develop short-, medium-, and long-term production plans * Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) * Adjust production capacity according to demand 3. Process Optimization * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) * Reduce waste, costs, and production time * Implement new technologies and automation 4. Quality and Safety * Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO) * Guarantee conformity with health, safety, and environmental regulations * Promote a safety culture in the workplace 5. Team Management * Lead, motivate, and develop production teams * Define objectives, evaluate performance, and identify training needs * Manage schedules, shifts, and human resources 6. Budget Management * Define and control the production budget * Monitor operational costs and implement cost-reduction measures * Ensure financial profitability and efficiency 7. Interdepartmental Coordination * Collaborate with logistics, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams * Ensure alignment between production and the supply chain * Work with senior management to define operational strategies **Requirements** Education * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Production) or related field * Master’s degree or MBA (preferred) Experience * 8–15+ years of experience in production or industrial operations * Proven leadership experience * Knowledge of the relevant industry sector Technical Skills * Production planning and control * Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies * ERP system usage (SAP, Oracle, etc.) * Performance indicator management Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: €55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Company car * Meal voucher/card * Free parking * Health insurance Work Location: On-site
