Professional development opportunities **Production Director (m/f/x)** Are you passionate about industry and team leadership? We are looking for a Production Director to join a leading industrial group in the metalworking sector, headquartered in Águeda. We seek a professional with experience in industrial production management, strong leadership skills, results orientation, and a focus on continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities * Plan, coordinate, and supervise production activities, ensuring achievement of quality, delivery, and cost objectives; * Lead and develop production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement; * Manage human, technical, and material resources assigned to production; * Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and implement actions to improve productivity and efficiency; * Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth production flow; * Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and enhanced competitiveness; * Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality standards; * Participate in defining and implementing the company’s industrial strategy. Required Profile * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field; * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production direction or coordination roles within an industrial environment; * Solid knowledge of production management, industrial planning, and continuous improvement; * Experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams; * Leadership, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills; * Results orientation and strong analytical ability; * Proficiency with computer tools and ERP systems; * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
