Freight Forwarder at GBA Logistics** Location: Porto \| Full\-time (Monday \- Friday 40 hours) Salary: €20,000 \- €30,000 **Drive European Logistics Forward \- One Load at a Time** *Are you passionate about delivering excellence every step of the way, if so, we want you.* **The Role** The Freight Forwarder will operate within the fast\-paced Automotive Logistics team, supporting multiple Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers with time\-critical ad\-hoc shipments. The primary responsibility is to quote all shipment requests to and from Morocco, Portugal, Spain, and France with speed, accuracy, and service excellence. The role holder will leverage our established partner network while developing new supplier relationships through strong local market knowledge. They will ensure outstanding customer satisfaction, deliver commercially competitive solutions, and uphold GBA Logistics' standards of operational and service excellence. Additionally, they will manage daily client requests, support KPI reporting, ensure adherence to customer SLAs and customs requirements, and contribute to strong quote\-to\-booking conversion rates and required profit levels. **Key Responsibilities for a Freight Forwarder** Manage and quote all time\-critical shipment requests to/from Morocco, Portugal, Spain, and France with speed and accuracy. Support Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers by delivering high\-quality service and meeting strict customer SLAs. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating competitive rates using local market knowledge. Provide clear handovers, accurate reporting, and support KPI requirements, ensuring compliance with customs where needed. Achieve strong quote\-to\-booking conversion rates and deliver monthly profit targets. **About You** We're looking for someone who brings: Strong English and French communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment. Experience in logistics, transport planning, or freight forwarding, including quoting and carrier/supplier interaction. Commercially aware, confident negotiator with solid understanding of margin and pricing. Competent in MS Office and quick to learn systems, with good knowledge of PT/ES/FR/MA geography.
