**Job Description:**The positions to be filled correspond to the performance of duties within the Senior Technician career/category, specifically as an Educational Psychologist, with functional complexity level 3, as described in the Annex referenced in paragraph 2 of Article 88 of the LTFP:
a) Consultative, research, planning, programming, evaluation, and application functions involving technical and/or scientific methods and processes that underpin and prepare decision-making;
b) Independent or team-based preparation of opinions and projects of varying complexity, and execution of other general or specialized support activities in common, instrumental, and operational areas of agency and service operations;
c) Functions performed with technical responsibility and autonomy, albeit under qualified higher-level supervision;
d) Representation of the agency or service on matters within one’s area of expertise, making technically grounded decisions aligned with directives or higher-level guidance;
e) Performance of functions as a Senior Technician Educational Psychologist (within the domain of Educational Psychology), aiming to promote students' cognitive, emotional, social, and vocational development;
f) Implementation of interventions across three core domains: (i) psychological and psychopedagogical support to students and teachers; (ii) support for developing relationships and dynamics within the educational community; (iii) academic and vocational guidance;
g) Contribution to creating safe, inclusive, and well-being-promoting educational environments, participating in implementing learning and inclusion support measures, in accordance with applicable legislation;
h) Performance of duties with technical autonomy and professional responsibility, respecting the profession’s ethical and deontological standards.
Areas of Practice:
* Psychological assessment (cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and vocational);
* Diagnosis and follow-up of students with specific educational needs;
* Individual and/or group psychopedagogical intervention;
* Implementation of programs promoting socioemotional well-being;
* Development of risk-behavior prevention initiatives;
* Academic and vocational guidance, particularly in the 9th and 12th grades;
* Support for transitions between educational cycles;
* Participation in Class Councils and technical meetings;
* Individual counseling for students and/or families;
* Collaboration with teachers in adapting pedagogical strategies;
* Integration into Multidisciplinary Teams for Inclusive Education Support;
* Preparation of psychological reports and technical opinions;
* Coordination with external services (healthcare, CPCJ, other entities).
