Ensure water temperature and chemical quantities are appropriate for cleaning and properly recorded. Assist with banquet food setup. Assist chefs and kitchen brigade with various tasks as needed. Provide items required by chefs. Assist during banquets and buffets by transporting items and ensuring adequate stock levels. Deliver cleaned items to appropriate locations. Use and maintain cleaning tools and equipment, including dishwashers, hand-washing sinks, wash basins, and waste compactors. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, reminding of disciplinary rules, motivating, and mentoring employees. Follow and implement all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to the supervisor; complete safety training and certifications. Wear a clean, complete uniform at all times; maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty; respect confidentiality regarding brand- and/or hotel-specific information and protect all company property. Greet and receive guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and respond to guest needs. Use clear and courteous language in all communications.
