Opportunity for professional development in a dynamic sector Nortempo Seleção is recruiting a **Junior Quality Engineer** for a prestigious industrial client located in Campo Maior (Portalegre). This professional will primarily represent the client internally, ensuring compliance with quality requirements, applicable standards, and automotive industry regulations, thereby contributing to continuous process improvement and customer satisfaction. **Main Responsibilities:** * Management and resolution of customer complaints using the 8D methodology; * Follow-up on corrective and preventive actions; * Direct interface with customers and internal departments (Production, Engineering, Logistics, and Quality); * Data analysis and monitoring of quality indicators (KPIs, PPM, scorecards); * Participation in internal and external audits (IATF 16949 and customer audits); * Ensuring compliance with specific customer requirements; * Contributing to continuous improvement of processes and products. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred); * Professional experience in Customer Quality within an industrial environment; * Knowledge of automotive industry standards (IATF 16949\); * Experience with quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) (mandatory); * Experience in internal and external audits (IATF / VDA 6\.3\); * Good command of English (mandatory); * Knowledge of French (an asset); * High sense of responsibility, organization, and teamwork; * Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. **Offer:** * Indefinite-term contract (maternity leave replacement), with potential for continued employment; * Base salary for 14 months (€1600) \+ Daily meal allowance (€7.25/day) \+ Health insurance; * Integration into a solid, industry-leading automotive company; * Opportunity for professional development in a demanding and dynamic industrial environment.
