Opportunity for progression to Maintenance Technician **Fire Protection Maintenance Assistant** **Location:** Palmela / Setúbal **Contract type:** Full-time **Sector:** Security and Fire Protection **Job Description** Our company, specialized in **installation and maintenance of fire protection systems**, seeks to strengthen its team with a **Maintenance Assistant**, to support technicians in daily activities including inspection, repair, and maintenance of safety equipment. **Main Responsibilities** * Support technicians in **preventive and corrective maintenance** of fire protection systems: hose reels, fire hydrants, sprinklers, detection and alarm systems. * Conduct **periodic inspections** of equipment and ensure proper system operation. * Perform **technical tests and verifications** in accordance with current regulations. * Assist in **installation of new equipment** and replacement of damaged components. * Ensure compliance with **safety and quality standards**. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace. **Requirements** * Minimum compulsory education level (preferably 9th or 12th grade). * Prior experience in maintenance, electricity, plumbing, or technical fields (valued). * Basic knowledge of fire protection systems (internal training will be provided). * Ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, and punctuality. * Driver's license (preferred). * Availability for occasional travel within the Setúbal / Lisbon area. **We Offer** * Integration into a **solid and growing company** in the fire safety sector. * Continuous technical training in maintenance and fire protection. * Opportunity for progression to **Maintenance Technician**. * Employment contract and remuneration commensurate with experience. * Working hours from Monday to Friday. **Applications** Send your **updated CV** to: geral@tovimbatista.com Indicate in the subject line: **“Maintenance Assistant – Palmela”** Employment type: Full-time Compensation: €920.00 per month Benefits: * Meal card/ticket Selection question(s): * Driver's license Language: * Portuguese (Mandatory) Travel availability: * 25% (Mandatory) Work location: On-site
