The Cultivation Technician will follow standard operating procedures and document consistently to ensure the quality of the plants. Reporting to the Area Supervisor (Propagation, Cultivation, IPM, Tissue Culture or designate) and/or Area Lead, the Cultivation Technician will be responsible for safely performing tasks that support plant growth and health. The Cultivation Technician will follow standard operating procedures and document consistently to ensure plant quality. **Responsibility** **/** **Role and Responsibilities** * Perform the duties/tasks which support the growth and health of the crops while maintaining a safe, clean and compliant workplace; Performs duties/tasks that support crop growth and health while maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant workplace * Perform all Production tasks required as part of our Production Schedule in any area of Production and as described in our Standard Operating Procedures; Perform all production tasks required under our Production Schedule in any production area, as described in our Standard Operating Procedures * Ensure assigned tasks are completed within expected time as per our Labour Tracking Data and meet quality standards; Ensure assigned tasks are completed within the expected timeframe per our Labour Tracking Data and meet quality standards * Perform cleaning in the greenhouse to include but not limited to; sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage \& recycling; Perform greenhouse cleaning, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and emptying garbage and recycling bins * Ensure Greenhouse sanitation is completed and minor cleaning is performed as needed during the crop cycle in coordination with Cultivation Supervisor/Lead; Ensure greenhouse sanitation is completed and minor cleaning is performed as needed during the crop cycle, in coordination with the Cultivation Supervisor/Lead * Any other duty deemed essential as requested by the Regional Production Director; Any other duty deemed essential by the Regional Production Director **Qualifications and Requirements** **/** **Qualifications and Education Requirements** * High School diploma preferred; High school diploma preferred * 1\-year experience in a greenhouse or in an agricultural setting is considered an asset; One year of experience in a greenhouse or agricultural setting is considered an asset * Ability to work in greenhouse environmental; Ability to work in a greenhouse environment * Capable of multi\-tasking; Capable of multitasking * Ability to work within a Good Agriculture Collection Practice and/or Good Manufacturing Practices compliance area; Ability to work in a Good Agricultural Collection Practice and/or Good Manufacturing Practice compliance environment * Ability to perform the safe and effective execution of all duties in accordance with established company safety, quality and compliance policies; Ability to safely and effectively perform all duties in accordance with established company safety, quality, and compliance policies
