International, dynamic, and collaborative environment Nortempo Seleção is recruiting an **Accounting Controller** (M/F) for a prestigious client located in **Porto**, aiming to strengthen its finance team in the areas of consolidation and reporting. The selected professional will join the Financial Consolidation team, collaborating cross-functionally with various departments to ensure the reliability, quality, and consistency of reported financial information. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Participation in quarterly accounting close in accordance with IFRS standards, with focus on the international scope * Review of financial notes and validation of reported information * Critical analysis of financial consolidation packages * Review and control of financial assets (notably fair value measurement – IFRS 13\) * Support in identifying and resolving data inconsistencies in reporting platforms * Collaboration with internal teams to continuously improve processes and operational efficiency * Regular reporting to management on activity progress and outcomes **Requirements** -------------- * Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting * Knowledge of IFRS standards (IFRS 17, IFRS 9, IFRS 4, and IAS 39\) are preferred * Prior experience in banking or insurance environments (preferred) * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail * Interest in process automation and improvement (advanced Excel and/or programming) * Fluency in English * French language knowledge (minimum intermediate level) * Strong communication skills and teamwork spirit **Offer** ---------- * Integration into a solid and growing project * Attractive salary conditions aligned with experience * Competitive benefits package (allowances, flexible benefits, and insurance) * Hybrid work arrangement * Career development and progression opportunities * International, dynamic, and collaborative environment * Continuous training and professional development
