With over 20 years of experience in the Portuguese market and international markets, we aim to recruit a Structural Design Engineer to work from our headquarters in Porto! Responsibilities of the Structural Design Engineer: \* Project Development: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop appropriate engineering solutions, complying with legal requirements and achieving optimal cost-performance ratios while ensuring consistency across disciplines. \* Training and Development: Work jointly with the mechanics department and HR team to define training plans for continuous enhancement of technical, technological, and soft skills—including problem-solving, critical thinking, and effective communication. \* Quality and Compliance: Ensure project quality control and proper organization and storage of information. Required Qualifications: \* Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering. \* Proven experience of at least 4 years in structural design projects, including foundations—specifically reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures. \* Experience with automated structural analysis software such as Robot, ETABS, IDEA, and others. \* Solid knowledge of structural engineering principles and European regulations (Eurocodes). \* Experience with BIM, particularly REVIT (preferred). \* Strong verbal and written communication skills. \* Registration with the Order of Engineers.
