The Senior Technician will carry out their duties at the Press Office and shall be responsible, inter alia, for: Journalistic Content Production: * The Senior Technician must draft and edit journalistic content for various channels (institutional website, social media, newsletters, press), with emphasis on creating scientific and institutional content; * Texts or videos must be written or produced with accuracy, clarity, and accessibility for diverse audiences; * Production of content on science, higher education, Faculty activities, and topics related to innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship. Communication and Media Relations: The Senior Technician must manage institutional communication, including: * Drafting and issuing press releases; * Organizing and supporting press conferences and briefings with journalists; * Maintaining ongoing relations with media outlets to enhance institutional visibility; * Managing communication crises, if necessary. Scientific Outreach: * The role includes communicating scientific topics, requiring adaptation of technical content into accessible formats for diverse audiences, including outputs for generalist and specialized media; * Developing and implementing scientific outreach initiatives targeting the public; * Organizing and covering institutional and scientific events. Strategic Communication Consulting: * The Senior Technician must contribute to defining communication strategies for events, institutional and scientific campaigns, as well as evaluating the impact of implemented communication actions; * Collaborating in managing the Faculty’s internal and external communication.
