Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Technician to strengthen our team, responsible for accounting processing, financial analysis, and compliance with tax and reporting obligations. Position: Accounting Technician Location: Porto/Valongo RESPONSIBILITIES: * Processing of accounting entries and bank reconciliations; * Preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports; * Fulfillment of tax and accounting reporting obligations (VAT, IRS, IRC, Social Security, among others); * Providing assistance and consultancy to clients on accounting and taxation matters, ensuring compliance with current legislation. CANDIDATE PROFILE: * Higher education degree in Accounting, Management, Economics or related field; * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar roles (experience in an accounting office will be valued); * Solid knowledge of Portuguese accounting and tax regulations; * Analytical ability, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility; * Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team and serve clients professionally; * Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Primavera or others) is an advantage.
