Job Summary: 4x4 Multitrabalhos Lda, a national metal-mechanical company with 24 years of activity, is seeking a Purchasing Technician to manage general procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and control stock. Currently, it is recruiting a Purchasing Technician. Candidate Profile: - Completed secondary education (12th grade) or higher education in Management, Logistics, Administration, or related fields; - Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement roles; - Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers; - Proficiency in computer applications from an end-user perspective; - Strong sense of responsibility and organizational ability; - Flexibility, proactivity, and adaptability; - Teamwork capability; - Stress resistance and ability to perform under pressure. Responsibilities: - Carry out general purchases, including parts, manufacturing materials, and consumables; - Request and compare supplier quotations, analyzing prices, delivery times, and commercial terms; - Classify and analyze purchase requisitions submitted by other departments; - Negotiate supply conditions, discounts, and payment terms; - Maintain and update the supplier database, evaluating supplier performance; - Monitor goods receipt and verification processes, ensuring compliance with purchase orders; - Collaborate with the warehouse on stock control and inventory management; - Support contract and procurement document management; - Ensure procurement compliance with technical, legal, and quality requirements; - Prepare procurement monitoring reports, including timelines and costs.
