Job Summary: The Assistant Maintenance Manager will support maintenance management to ensure the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and technical operations run smoothly, maintaining the highest standards of comfort, safety, and luxury. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. **We are a company:** Meliá Hotels International ME Lisbon, located in the vibrant heart of the city, is **Portugal’s first luxury lifestyle hotel.** We combine contemporary design, urban energy, and outstanding service to create moments that stay with our guests—and inspire our team every day. **Mission:** As **Assistant Maintenance Manager**, you will support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and technical operations run smoothly, maintaining the highest standards of comfort, safety, and luxury. **What will you have to do?** * Assist in planning and supervising daily maintenance operations across the hotel. * Support preventive and corrective maintenance for guest rooms, public spaces, and back\-of\-house areas. * Help monitor and maintain building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. * Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for timely and high\-quality service. * Maintain records of maintenance activities, schedules, and inventories. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. **What are we looking for?** * At least 3 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a similar technical role. * Strong technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems. * Ability to read technical drawings, plans, and manuals. * Excellent organizational, planning, and problem\-solving skills. * Proactive, hands\-on approach with attention to detail and high\-quality standards. * Proficiency in English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus. **Requirements** :
