Job Summary: A Quality, Safety, and Environment professional responsible for ensuring and controlling welding quality from design through on-site supervision. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure welding quality and control methodologies 2. Qualify welding procedures and welders 3. Manage non-conformities and conduct on-site supervision This role is integrated within the Quality, Safety, and Environment Department of Martifer Construções Metalomecânicas, S.A., with responsibilities including: * Study specifications, propose quality control and assurance methodologies, compile and summarize best welding techniques/processes, and disseminate them across the organization; * Develop proposals and prepare implementation of procedures and work instructions; * Interact with manufacturing and subcontractors; * Qualify welding procedures and welders; * Perform welding design and engineering; * Ensure product quality oversight through site visits; * Organize associated technical documentation; * Participate in managing product non-conformities and customer complaints related to product/service; * Conduct and manage inspections assigned to this role as stipulated in the PIE. What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Management Certification in Welding Engineering Experience in metal structures, with technical knowledge of welding English language proficiency Strong communication and teamwork skills Organizational and critical analysis capabilities Resilience and proactivity
